Description
The Zeiss Axio Incubation Microscope is an inverted fluorescence incubation microscope equipped with CO2 and temperature control designed for live cell imaging, advanced biological research and automated fluorescence imaging. This microscope can perform varied transmitted light and multi-channel fluorescence light imaging including z-stack, tiling, time series and multi-area time series measurement and is fully equipped with color and monochrome imaging modes. The system’s Apotome is able to maintain focus over long periods of time during time series imaging. Objectives include long working distance/multi-immersion/oil immersion ranging from 5x to 100x. Compatible sample carriers include slides, petri dishes and multi-well plates.
Capabilities
- High-Resolution Color Imaging – AxioCam 305 Color
Advanced CMOS color camera delivering high-resolution images with accurate color reproduction. Ideal for brightfield, routine histology, pathology, and documentation applications requiring true-to-life color detail. - Ultra-Sensitive Monochrome Imaging – AxioCam 820 Monochrome
Scientific-grade monochrome camera optimized for low-light imaging. Provides exceptional sensitivity, low noise performance, and high dynamic range for demanding fluorescence applications. - Advanced Fluorescence Illumination – Xylis II Epifluorescence LED
High-intensity, multi-channel LED fluorescence illumination system enabling stable, uniform excitation across multiple fluorophores. Designed for rapid switching, consistent output, and long operational life.
Objective Lens Configuration
- Long Working Distance / Air Objectives (5x, 20x)
Optimized for overview imaging and routine sample observation, providing extended working distance for thicker specimens and ease of handling. - Water-Immersion Objective (40x)
Flexible immersion capability enabling improved resolution and refractive index matching for enhanced image clarity. - Oil-Immersion Objectives (63x, 100x)
High numerical aperture objectives delivering superior resolution and contrast for detailed cellular and subcellular imaging, particularly suited for fluorescence microscopy. - AI-Powered Sample Detection
Integrated artificial intelligence automatically identifies tissue regions, cells, or areas of interest directly through the objective lens view, minimizing manual searching time.
